On Friday, June 7, 2024, Wellspring House welcomed attendees to our spring celebration, “Celesong: Lifting Voices Through Song & Storytelling.” Surrounded by the beauty of flowers and the serenity of the woods, guests enjoyed locally-sourced fare, prepared by the Tim Hopkins crew and sipped on beverages from the Hive’s Airstream Bar. Local standout musician, Jesse Joseph of Wood & Bone treated incoming guests to several original songs, as those in attendance made their way under the tent for a night full of exciting entertainment.

Lifting Voices Together

Friends and guests enjoyed music and stories, featuring acclaimed singer-songwriters Darrell Scott and Hayley Reardon. Attendees also had the opportunity to support Wellspring’s critical programs that provide housing, job training, education, and career readiness to thousands of community members, with a Fund-A-Future paddle raise and a live auction.

Special Recognition

We honored a special partner, Kristine Irving of Koo de Kir Architectural Interiors, with Wellspring’s Endless Possibilities recognition. Her vision, leadership, and design talent transformed the living spaces of Wellspring’s Family Shelter program through the Coming Home initiative, providing enhanced, welcoming, and functional environments for families striving to find permanent housing.

Community Lyric Project

Music inspires us to move forward, helps us cope, and allows us to celebrate life’s beautiful moments. At Celesong, attendees helped create Wellspring’s Lyric Quilt by contributing a lyric that held special meaning for them. This project was inspired and made possible by our friends at Red Barn Architecture. You can listen to the Celesong playlist on Spotify with the songs that were added to the project.
